Nvidia Outlook, Earnings Lift Wall Street Pre-Bell; Asia, Europe Up

06:17 AM EST, 02/26/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Wall Street futures pointed moderately higher pre-bell Wednesday as traders took positions ahead of the after-bell earnings report from chipmaking bellwether Nvidia (NVDA).

In the futures, the S&P 500 rose 0.5%, the Nasdaq inclined 0.8% and the Dow Jones was up 0.2%.

Asian exchanges traded mostly in the green overnight as powerful property and tech-share rallies pushed Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index up 3.3%. Bangkok's SET Index rose 2% after a central bank rate cut.

European bourses tracked north at midday on the continent.

Anheuser-Busch Inbev (BUD) shares traded up 7.3% pre-bell after the beverage giant reported Q4 earnings that topped outlooks.

Super Micro Computer (SMCI) shares rose 24.8% in premarket trading after the IT outfit met an SEC deadline for filing tardy financial statements.

TJX (TJX), Lowe's (LOW), and Verisk Analytics (VRSK) plan to report earnings pre-bell, among others.

The weekly MBA mortgage applications bulletin is on the economic calendar at 7 am ET, followed by the January new home sales report at 10 am.

The weekly EIA petroleum status bulletin posts at 10 am, followed by the Atlanta Fed Survey of Business Uncertainty report for January at 11 am.

Federal Reserve Richmond President Thomas Barkin speaks at 8:30 am, and Atlanta Fed President Raphael Bostic at noon.

In premarket action, Bitcoin traded at $89,045, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded steadily near $68.97, and 10-year US Treasuries offered 4.31%. Spot gold traded for $2,914 an ounce.
