Russian rouble weakens slightly against dollar

MOSCOW, June 5 (Reuters) - The Russian rouble weakened

slightly against the U.S. dollar on Wednesday.

By 0715 GMT, the rouble was 0.17% lower at

88.95 to the dollar after trading in a range of 88.680 to

88.990.

Against the euro, the rouble fell 0.15% to

96.75 and dropped 0.22% to 12.26 against the yuan

.

Brent crude oil, a global benchmark for Russia's

main export, fell 0.1% to $77.41 a barrel.

Russian stock indexes rose. The dollar-denominated RTS index

rose 0.74% to 1,139.69. The rouble-based MOEX Russian

index gained 0.98% to 3,218.02.
