08:07 AM EDT, 07/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- As Canada Post workers start to vote on the final employer offer Monday, new data from the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB) has found that a postal strike could push nearly two in three (63%) businesses to walk away from using Canada Post permanently.
CFIB said Canada Post needs to change its business model or risk losing more small businesses, "one of its last groups of profitable customers". About 13% of small firms already stopped using Canada Post after the 2024 strike, CFIB added.
