Solomon Islands hit by magnitude 7.3 earthquake, tsunami warning issued

A magnitude 7.3 earthquake with a depth of 10 km struck Malango in Solomon islands on Tuesday, the United States Geological Survey said.

A tsunami warning was issued after the earthquake.
