ZURICH/GDANSK, June 12 (Reuters) - Here are some of the

main factors that may affect Swiss stocks on Thursday:

UBS

UBS finance chief Todd Tuckner voiced his disappointment on

Wednesday over proposed new Swiss capital regulations, which he

said was the beginning of a possibly long process that the bank

intends to contribute to.

GLENCORE ( GLCNF )

Glencore ( GLCNF ) declared force majeure on some deliveries of cobalt

from Democratic Republic of Congo days after the government

suspended exports of the battery material, three sources

familiar with the matter told Reuters.

Also on Wednesday, Bloomberg News reported that U.S. grains

merchant Bunge is close to getting a ruling from Chinese

regulators on its $8.2 billion purchase of Glencore ( GLCNF )-backed

Viterra with a verdict expected within days.

COMPANY STATEMENTS

* Julius Baer places EUR 500 million senior

unsecured notes

* ABB and Applied Digital ( APLD ) say first orders under

partnership booked in Q4 2024 and Q1 2025

ECONOMY

No major Swiss economic data scheduled.
