Tech Shares Lift Wall Street Pre-Bell; Asia, Europe Up

07:23 AM EDT, 06/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Wall Street futures pointed modestly higher pre-bell Wednesday after Constellation Energy (CEG) and Meta Platforms (META) signed a 20-year deal through which the output from the Clinton Clean Energy Center in Illinois will be used to support Meta's operations in the region with 1,121 megawatts of nuclear energy.

In addition, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSM) overnight forecast robust revenue growth amid AI chip demand.

In the futures, the S&P 500 rose 0.2%, the Nasdaq edged 0.1% higher and the Dow Jones was up 0.1%.

Asian exchanges traded higher overnight on tech-sector strength, while European bourses tracked moderately north midday on the continent.

Dollar Tree (DLTR) shares were down 2.3% pre-bell after the company offered tempered fiscal Q2 guidance.

On the economic calendar is the ADP Employment Report for May at 8:15 am ET, followed by the S&P Global US Composite PMI at 9:45 am.

The ISM Services Index posts at 10 am, followed by the weekly EIA petroleum status report at 10:30 am.

The Federal Reserve's Beige Book, a compendium of business and economics reports from the 12 regional Fed branches, posts at 2 pm.

Atlanta Fed President Raphael Bostic is slated to speak on Wednesday.

In premarket activity, Bitcoin traded at $105,810, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded higher at $63.44, and 10-year US Treasuries offered 4.54%. Spot gold traded for $3,358 an ounce.
