02:54 PM EDT, 10/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tapestry (TPR) said it plans to appeal a US district court decision granting the US Federal Trade Commission's request to block the acquisition of Capri (CPRI).

Shares of Capri plunged 49% as intraday trading volume catapulted to over 40 million from a daily average of about 1.71 million.

Evolv Technologies ( EVLV ) shares sank 42% after the firm said Friday that it is delaying its Q3 earnings report because some past financial statements should not be relied upon due to inaccuracies in revenue recognition.

More than 17.9 million shares traded intraday compared with a daily average of about 1.39 million.

Lilium (LILM) said late Thursday its principal German subsidiaries will apply for self-administration proceedings in the next few days with the competent court in Germany following its failure to obtain funding from the German government.

Shares retreated 35% as intraday trading volume jumped to over 96 million from a daily average of roughly 6.23 million.
