02:18 PM EDT, 09/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- PACS Group's ( PACS ) shares slumped 29% amid heavy trading after the company said Chief Financial Officer Derick Apt resigned Sept. 2.

An investigation found that Apt accepted "a series of high-value items" from individuals associated with entities with which the company does business, thereby breaching company policies, PACS said.

Intraday trading volume soared to over 4 million shares from a daily average of about 563,000.

Bioceres Crop Solutions ( BIOX ) reported Tuesday fiscal Q4 revenue of $74.7 million, down 40% from a year earlier, reflecting weaker demand in Argentina and lower HB4-related sales.

Operating loss was $14.9 million for the quarter, the company said.

Shares slumped 15% as intraday trading volume rose to over 1.7 million from a daily average of about 216,000.

Albemarle (ALB) shares slumped 12% intraday due mainly to a report that a major Chinese lithium mine, operated by Contemporary Amperex Technology, is set to resume production after a period of suspension, media reports cited the Chinese state media outlet Securities Times.

More than 9.9 million shares of Albemarle traded intraday compared with a daily average of about 4.3 million.
