03:48 AM EST, 11/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tradeweb Markets ( TW ) said Monday it is working with the Tokyo Stock Exchange to improve liquidity access for institutional investors in Japanese exchange-traded funds.

The company said a new direct link between Tradeweb and the Tokyo Stock Exchange's request-for-quote platform, CONNEQTOR, enables Tradeweb clients to include CONNEQTOR providers in trade inquiries.

Global X Japan executed the first trade using this connection, according to the company.
