UK Stocks-Factors to watch on October 21

Oct 21 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 index is

seen opening higher on Tuesday, with futures up 0.14%.

* UNILEVER ( UL ): Unilever ( UL ) said the timeline for the planned

demerger of The Magnum Ice Cream Company has been delayed due to

the U.S. federal government shutdown, with further updates on

the revised schedule to be provided as soon as possible.

* BUNZL ( BZLFF ): Bunzl ( BZLFF ) maintained its annual outlook after

posting a rise in third-quarter sales and a moderation in margin

declines compared with the first half, following moves to

address market pressures.

* COCA-COLA HBC AG ( CCHBF ): Coca-Cola HBC AG ( CCHBF ) reached an

agreement to acquire a controlling stake in Coca-Cola Beverages

Africa (CCBA) from The Coca-Cola Company ( KO ) and Gutsche

Family Investments in a deal worth $3.4 billion.

* SERICA ENERGY ( SQZZF ): Serica Energy ( SQZZF ) said production

had resumed at the Triton floating production storage and

offloading vessel, following a temporary shutdown.

* BORROWING: Britain's borrowing in the first half of the

financial year ran above official forecasts although the

shortfall in recent months was revised down, according to data

that keeps the spotlight on finance minister Rachel Reeves'

budget next month.

* PIZZA HUT UK: Pizza Hut UK will shut 68 restaurants and 11

delivery sites, resulting in the loss of 1,210 jobs, after the

company behind its British venues entered administration,

according to administrator FTI Consulting.

* HSBC ( HSBC ): HSBC ( HSBC ) said that it has appointed former NatWest

executive David Lindberg as CEO of its UK business,

months after the British banking group initiated a search to

lead its ring-fenced division.

* COMMODITIES: Oil prices fell on concerns about excess supply,

Gold prices inched lower , Copper gained ground.
