04:09 PM EDT, 09/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- The US Treasury reported Wednesday that there was a net combined $156.5 billion inflow of long-term, short-term and banking flows in July, compared with a $92.0 billion inflow in June.
Long-term securities transactions represented a net $135.4 billion inflow while short-term transactions were a net $14.3 billion inflow and bank liabilities were a net $6.8 billion inflow.
By country, Japan remained the largest holder of Treasury securities with $1.116 trillion.
