The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 23.97 points, or 0.06%, at the open to 39,089.23. The S&P 500 opened higher by 13.61 points, or 0.26%, at 5,281.45, while the Nasdaq Composite gained 50.76 points, or 0.30%, to 16,786.79 at the opening bell.
