Ameriprise's Columbia Threadneedle Teams Up With Long Run Partners to Buy, Securitize Mortgages

02:32 PM EDT, 10/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ameriprise Financial's ( AMP ) global asset management group Columbia Threadneedle Investments said Wednesday it entered into a partnership with Long Run Partners to invest in up to $1.5 billion of high-quality non-agency mortgage loans for programmatic securitization.

The loans will be sourced by Long Run Partners, Columbia Threadneedle said.

Portfolios managed by Columbia Threadneedle will provide 90% of the partnership's capital, while Long Run will provide the remaining 10%, as well as administrative services, according to a statement.
