07:28 AM EST, 11/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Digihost Technology ( DGHI ) up nearly 9% in U.S. premarket trade, on Friday reported a swing to a loss for its third quarter on higher sales costs. Revenue rose 71%.
The company, which operates data centres, posted a net loss of US$6.4 million or US$0.21 per share, compared with a net profit of US$0.13 million, or nil per share, last year. Digihost ( DGHI ) reported cost of sales increased to US$12.2 million, from US$7.9 million.
Revenue increased 71% to US$9.2 million. Digihost ( DGHI ) said it significantly diversified its revenue sources through various "colocation" agreements and the sale of energy.
Digihost ( DGHI ) was last seen up US$0.16, to US$1.96 in premarket trade.
