07:08 AM EST, 11/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Alibaba Group ( BABA ) is reportedly considering a bond offering worth about $5 billion this month, possibly including dollar and yuan-denominated parts, Bloomberg reported, citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter.

Alibaba ( BABA ) raised $5 billion in a private convertible bond offering in May.

The company's last public dollar bond issuance was in 2021 when it raised $5 billion in a multi-part deal.

Alibaba Group ( BABA ) did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
