11:03 AM EDT, 05/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Walt Disney ( DIS ) has reached a deal to sell its minority stake in Tata Play, a subscription television broadcaster, to Tata Group, which takes full control of the platform following the deal, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

The transaction values Tata Play at about $1 billion, the people told Bloomberg.
