05:29 AM EDT, 10/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- NIQ (NIQ) said Wednesday its GfK unit received a contract from the Research Council of South Africa to provide measurement of radio and television audiences in the country.

The initial radio data collection round is now underway, with initial insights to be released in Q1.

The company said GfK will also design and implement South Africa's new total video measurement service, which ascertains media consumption across multiple platforms.
