Public Service Electric and Gas to Lower Residential Gas Bills by 5%

08:52 AM EDT, 09/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Public Service Enterprise Group's ( PEG ) Public Service Electric and Gas unit said Thursday it is reducing residential gas bills for its customers by 5%, effective Oct. 1.

Following approval from the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities on Wednesday, the Basic Gas Supply Service rate will decrease by nearly $0.07 per therm, bringing the rate to approximately $0.328 cents per therm, the company said.
