Walmart Canada Investing $53 Million in Wage Increases for Hourly Employees

02:29 PM EDT, 07/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Walmart ( WMT ) unit Walmart Canada said Thursday it is investing $53 million to increase per hour wage of its store associates.

The company said it raised hourly wages of around 40,000 employees earlier this month to ensure competitive pay in the markets it operates in.
