Research Alert: CFRA Maintains Buy Opinion On Shares Of Shopify Inc.
Mar 10, 2026 8:42 PM

11:25 AM EST, 11/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:

We raise our 12-month target to $200 from $185, on EV/S of about 15x our 2027 estimate, which is below historical. After positing Q3/Q4 growth above our views, we adjust our 2025 EPS estimate to $1.87 from $1.58, 2026 to $1.98 from $1.94, and 2027 to $2.52 from $2.49. We like SHOP's evolution and strategic positioning at the forefront of the next wave of commerce, driven by AI (agentic commerce). Early adoption metrics for SHOP's AI assistant, Sidekick (750,000 new shops, 100 million conversations), are promising, while partnerships with OpenAI, Microsoft, and Perplexity for agentic commerce position it well for this emerging opportunity. SHOP continues to exceed our expectations, reflecting robust international performance (41% GMV growth), momentum in enterprise with major brand wins, and hyper-growth in newer channels like B2B (98% GMV growth). SHOP Payments and the Shop Pay ecosystem remain critical growth engines, with Payments penetration reaching 65% and Shop Pay GMV growing 67% YoY.
