The Philadelphia Housing Index added 0.6%, and the Real Estate Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLRE) climbed 0.3%.

Bitcoin (BTC-USD) increased 2% to $69,148, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries rose six basis points to 4.29%.

In corporate news, Barclays ( JJCTF ) is mulling a return to Saudi Arabia with plans to expand in Riyadh, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi, Bloomberg reported, citing the bank's Chief Executive Officer C.S. Venkatakrishnan. Barclays ( JJCTF ) shares rose 0.8%.

Robinhood (HOOD) shares popped 4% after the company said its Robinhood Derivatives unit has launched presidential election event contracts that allow customers to trade on the results of the Nov. 5 election.

BlackRock ( BLK ) and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board plan to invest in the $1.4 billion initial public offering of Swiggy, the Indian food delivery firm, Reuters reported Sunday. BlackRock ( BLK ) shares added 1%.
