Spanish stocks - Factors to watch on May 20

May 20 (Reuters) - The following Spanish stocks may be

affected by newspaper reports and other factors on Monday.

IBERDROLA

Spanish utility Iberdrola has agreed to acquire the

remaining 18.4% stake in Avangrid ( AGR ) that it does not

already own, the U.S. subsidiary said on Friday, in an all-cash

deal worth about $2.6 billion.

TUBACEX

The company said on Monday that Mubadala will take a 49%

stake in Tubacex's oil and gas exploration and production

tubular solutions (OCTG) business for $150 million.

ORYZON

The company announced on Friday the conversion of

convertible bonds up to 45 million euros.

ARIMA

The company said on Saturday it would propose a share

capital reduction of 24.5 million euros.

BBVA, SABADELL

Sabadell's investor Martinez supports BBVA's hostile

takeover bid, Bloomberg reported on Friday.

TELEFONICA

Telefonica and H.I.G. Capital are among the suitors weighing

bids for Spanish Avatel Telecom, Bloomberg reported on Friday.

MELIA

The hotel company aims to reach 150,000 rooms in the medium

term, a 50% growth compared to the end of 2023, and is

finalising agreements to incorporate portfolios in the Middle

East and Southeast Asia, Spanish economic newspaper Cinco Dias

reported on Monday.

TALGO

Criteria Caixa has ruled out joining the Hungarian

consortium Ganz-Mavag in its bid for the Spanish train

manufacturer, Spanish newspaper El Economista reported on

Monday, citing unidentified market sources.
