10:49 AM EST, 11/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Asian equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts opened the week little changed Monday morning, edging 0.01% lower to 2,677.43 on the S&P Asia 50 ADR Index.
From North Asia, the gainers were led by solar module maker JinkoSolar ( JKS ) and ecommerce company Alibaba Group ( BABA ) , which advanced 8% and 4.1%, respectively. They were followed by digital services company AMTD Digital ( HKD ) and automotive marketplace Cango ( CANG ) , which increased 4% and 3.4%, respectively.
The decliners from North Asia were led by brand platform 36Kr (KRKR) and education company 51Talk Online Education Group ( COE ) , which fell 7.2% and 6.6%, respectively. They were followed by Chaince Digital ( CD ) and mobile healthcare platform 111 (YI), which dropped 6% and 4.4%, respectively.
From South Asia, the gainers were led by tech conglomerate Sea (SE) and telecommunications operator PLDT (PHI), which rose 4.7% and 3%, respectively. They were followed by IT firm Sify Technologies ( SIFY ) and lender HDFC Bank (HDB), which were up 2.6% and 1.3%, respectively.
There were no decliners from South Asia.
