European Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Decline in Tuesday Trading

11:02 AM EDT, 03/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- European equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were lower late Tuesday morning, declining 1.03% to 1,388.44 on the S&P Europe Select ADR Index.

From continental Europe, the gainers were led by biopharmaceutical company DBV Technologies ( DBVT ) and biotech firm Evaxion Biotech ( EVAX ) , which advanced 9.2% and 4.1%, respectively. They were followed by biopharmaceutical company Cellectis ( CLLS ) and 3D printer company Materialise (MTLS), which were up 3.3% and 1.2%, respectively.

The decliners from continental Europe were led by biotech firm BioNTech (BNTX) and biopharmaceutical company Grifols ( GRFS ) , which fell 4.4% and 2.2%, respectively. They were followed by semiconductor company Sequans Communications ( SQNS ) and pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk ( NVO ) , which dropped 2% and 1.4%, respectively.

From the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by biopharmaceutical company Akari Therapeutics ( AKTX ) and utilities company National Grid ( NGG ) , which increased 7.1% and 0.7%, respectively. They were followed by biopharmaceutical company TC Biopharm ( TCBP ) and mining company BHP Group ( BHP ) , which rose 0.5% and 0.4%, respectively.

The decliners from the UK and Ireland were led by biopharmaceutical company Biodexa Pharmaceuticals ( BDRX ) and pharmaceutical company Silence Therapeutics ( SLN ) , which lost 29% and 5.6%, respectively. They were followed by biopharmaceutical company NuCana ( NCNA ) and biotech firm Autolus Therapeutics ( AUTL ) , which were down 5.1% and 4.4%, respectively.
