03:48 AM EST, 01/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- 23andMe Holding ( ME ) said late Tuesday a special committee of its board has started exploring strategic alternatives, including a possible sale of the company or its assets, a business combination and a restructuring.

The special committee has retained Moelis & Co. and Goodwin Procter as advisers, the company said.

The company does not plan to disclose further updates on the process until it makes an agreement, it said.
