08:33 AM EDT, 06/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Abbott Laboratories ( ABT ) said Monday the US Food and Drug Administration has approved two of the company's over-the-counter continuous glucose monitoring wearable systems.

The wearable Lingo device is intended for general health monitoring, while Libre Rio is for adults with Type 2 diabetes who manage their condition without insulin, the company said.
