Academy Sports and Outdoors Q1 Adjusted Earnings, Revenue Decline; Updates Full-Year Guidance

08:35 AM EDT, 06/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Academy Sports and Outdoors ( ASO ) reported Q1 adjusted earnings Tuesday of $0.76 per share, down from $1.08 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.89.

Revenue for the fiscal quarter ended May 3 was $1.35 billion, down from $1.36 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $1.37 billion.

The company updated its fiscal 2025 guidance, now expecting adjusted earnings per share in the range of $5.45 to $6.25, compared with its previous outlook of $5.75 to $6.20.

Analysts polled by FactSet expect $5.94.

Revenue guidance for fiscal 2025 is now projected at $5.97 billion to $6.27 billion, compared with the prior range of $6.09 billion to $6.27 billion.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $6.14 billion.

Shares of Academy Sports were 1.4% higher in premarket trading.
