Accenture Invests in AI-Focused Drug Interaction Simulation Startup Turbine

08:47 AM EDT, 05/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Accenture ( ACN ) said Thursday it has invested in Turbine, a firm focused on building an AI-powered human biology simulation platform meant to speed drug development.

Financial terms of the investment weren't disclosed.

Turbine will join an Accenture Ventures program aimed at providing startups with technological tools to develop their projects.

Turbine's Simulated Cell platform uses machine learning to predict and model human cell interactions with molecules, allowing for digital simulations of drug tests.
