03:04 PM EDT, 07/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Accenture ( ACN ) and SandboxAQ are set to expand collaboration to improve enterprise data encryption against existing breaches and emerging artificial intelligence and quantum threats, Accenture ( ACN ) said Tuesday.

The expanded collaboration aims to help organizations protect sensitive data and enhance encryption across their technology systems, while also providing observability to strengthen resilience and mitigate third-party risks, the company said.

Accenture ( ACN ) said it is launching an innovative encryption risk assessment service, combined with SandboxAQ's AQtive Guard to mitigate potential risks associated with inadequate cryptography.

Financial details were not disclosed.

Accenture ( ACN ) shares rose 0.8% in recent trading.
