Achieve Life Sciences Co-Founder to Reassume CEO Role

05:25 PM EDT, 08/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Achieve Life Sciences ( ACHV ) said late Monday that Richard Stewart, its co-founder and executive chairman, will reassume the role of its chief executive officer.

John Bencich, the company's CEO for the past four years, will serve as an advisor during the transition.

Additionally, the company said Thomas King, its lead independent director, will assume the role of executive chairman.

Stewart said the company remains "on track" to meet its objectives, including a meeting with the US Food and Drug Administration for its end-of-phase-2 meeting for vaping cessation and proceeding with a new drug application submission likely to be ready for filing in H1 2025.
