08:51 AM EDT, 08/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- ADENTRA ( HDIUF ) , a distributor of architectural building products, said overnight Thursday that its adjusted net income increased 47% in the second quarter.
Adjusted net income rose to $24.4 million from $16.6 million.
Sales slipped to US$549.5 million from US$585.9 million while adjusted EBITDA grew 5.1% to US$48.5 million.
"From an operations perspective, our bottom-line results continued to strengthen in the second quarter as tight operating management, successful strategy execution, and our significant diversification across products, geographies, customers and end-markets delivered predictably robust performance, despite softer markets," President and CEO Rob Brown said.
For the third quarter, ADENTRA ( HDIUF ) expects its adjusted EBITDA to be similar to the second quarter, with acquisition-based growth expected to build on that performance as the company benefits from the inclusion of Woolf's operations for August and September.
