02:04 PM EDT, 05/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Advanced Micro Devices ( AMD ) said Wednesday it has acquired Enosemi to help develop a variety of photonics and co-packaged optics solutions across next-gen AI systems.

"Enosemi has collaborated with us as an external development partner on photonics," Brian Amick, AMD's senior vice president of technology and engineering, said in a blog post.

"This acquisition extends that successful relationship," he added.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
