10:54 AM EST, 02/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Advanced Micro Devices' ( AMD ) proposed acquisition of ZT Systems was placed under a routine merger review by the European Commission Wednesday, with a provisional deadline of March 12, according to a filing.

AMD's proposed cash and stock deal for the server maker was valued at $4.9 billion when it was announced in August 2024.

AMD and ZT didn't immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
