10:57 AM EDT, 10/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- AeroVironment ( AVAV ) said Monday it won a contract from the US Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office to provide its Kinesis software for the Human-Machine Integrated Formations, or HMIF, Increment 1 program.
Under the contract, the company will serve as lead software and systems integrator, delivering a unified interface for mission planning, tactical awareness, autonomy management, and payload control.
The HMIF program aims to accelerate the fielding of robotic air and ground formations to support armored and infantry units by improving decision-making, operational efficiency, and safety.
AeroVironment ( AVAV ) said Kinesis integrates with tactical command-and-control platforms such as Tak/Atak and supports modular expansion for future autonomous capabilities.
Shares of AeroVironment ( AVAV ) were up 1.8% in recent trading.
