09:19 AM EDT, 03/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- AES ( AES ) said Thursday it extended the expiration time for solicitations of consent from holders of different senior note series to 5:00 pm ET on Friday.

The consent solicitations involve its 5.450% senior notes due 2028, 3.950% senior notes due 2030, 2.450% senior notes due 2031, and 5.800% senior notes due 2032, all of which had an original expiration date of March 11, the company said.
