Affirm Holdings Fiscal Q1 Loss Narrows, Sales Jump; Guidance Issued

05:23 PM EST, 11/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Affirm Holdings ( AFRM ) reported a fiscal Q1 net loss late Thursday of $0.31 per diluted share, compared with a $0.57 net loss a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected a loss of $0.33.

Net revenue for the quarter that ended Sept. 30 was $698.5 million, up from $496.5 million a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $664 million.

The company expects fiscal Q2 revenue of $770 million to $810 million. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $784.5 million.

In the full financial year, the company expects sales to be at least 20 basis points above fiscal 2024 as a percentage of gross merchandise value. Analysts are looking for $3.02 billion.

Shares fell 1.6% in after-hours activity.
