07:32 AM EDT, 09/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Africa Energy ( HPMCF ) earlier on Monday said its joint venture partners for offshore Block 11B/12B in South Africa obtained an extension to the deadline for the submission of the Environmental Impact Assessment Report to May 19 of next year.

The joint venture partners announced their withdrawal from their 45% and 25% interest in Block 11B/12B in late July. Africa Energy ( HPMCF ) says it is assessing the best way forward regarding the Environmental Application process.
