08:41 AM EDT, 06/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Agilon Health ( AGL ) said Wednesday it has named Jeff Schwaneke its chief financial officer, effective July 1.

He succeeds Timothy Bensley, who is retiring and will remain through a transition period.

Schwaneke most recently served as vice president of health care enterprises for Centene, Agilon said. He will step down from Agilon's board, which he joined in 2022, when he becomes finance chief.
