May 26, 2025 1:52 PM

07:58 AM EDT, 05/26/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Air Transat, a unit of Transat A.T ( TRZBF ). (TRZ.TO), on Monday said it is extending its routes to Bordeaux and Valencia for the upcoming winter.

The routes, which were previously only offered during the summer, will operate on Saturdays from February 21 through October 2026 with a flight from Montreal-Trudeau to Bordeaux, France and then Valencia, Spain aboard an Airbus A321LR.

"By expanding our presence in France and Spain during the winter, we are taking another step toward making our transatlantic program available year-round," said Transat's Chief Revenue Officer Sebastian Ponce. "Having recently added Valencia to our summer program, its winter extension is a testament to the destination's potential. As for Bordeaux, its winter addition strengthens our presence in the French provinces, a priority market for Air Transat."
