AirAsia offers domestic flight tickets starting at Rs 999

AirAsia India on Tuesday launched a low fare scheme that will offer one-way domestic flight tickets for as low as Rs 999.

Besides the cheap tickets for domestic travels, the carrier will also offer low fares on international flights starting at Rs 3,399 for destinations like Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok, according to the carrier's website .

Fliers can book their tickets by July 15 for any travel between February 1, 2019 and August 13, 2019.

The low fare sale by AirAsia India comes at a time when other airlines such as Jet Airways, SpiceJet and Vistara have also announced similar schemes to improve their foothold in the expanding aviation sector.
