06:01 PM EDT, 09/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Alamos Gold ( AGI ) said Thursday it now expects total gold production of between 550,000 and 590,000 ounces for 2024, 13% higher than its previous guidance.
The updated guidance takes into account the increased production outlook for the Mulatos District in Mexico and the inclusion of recently acquired Magino mine in Canada, it said.
The company also said it increased its 2025 and 2026 production guidance by more than 20% to reflect the Magino inclusion.
Alamos said the guidance for all-in-sustaining costs, or AISC, between 2024 and 2026 has been increased by an average of 11%.
However, it expects company-wide AISC to remain well below the industry average and continue declining over the longer term driven by low-cost production growth at Island Gold and continued improvements at the Magino operation.
