05:00 PM EDT, 05/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alcon ( ALC ) said Wednesday the US Food and Drug Administration approved its eye drop Tryptyr to treat the signs and symptoms of dry eye disease.

The approval was supported by two phase 3 trials involving more than 930 patients with a history of the condition.

Alcon ( ALC ) said it expects to launch Tryptyr in the US in Q3.
