Aug 29, 2024 3:04 AM

09:05 AM EDT, 08/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Alphamin Resources ( AFMJF ) said Friday that its net income and revenue increased in the second quarter.

The company booked a net profit of US$22.5 million, or $0.014 per diluted share, rising from US$17.8 million, or $0.0114 per share.

Revenue jumped to US$103.9 million from US$75.7 million.

Following completion of the expansion project at the Bisie tin mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the company said it intends to commence with ongoing exploration drilling from the fourth quarter.

Alphamin said the drill program aims to increase the Mpama North and Mpama South resource base and life of mine, discover the next tin deposit near Bisie, and conduct grassroots exploration in search of remote tin deposits.
