01:24 PM EST, 01/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- ALX Oncology Holdings ( ALXO ) said Wednesday it has appointed Harish Shantharam to the office of chief financial officer to replace Shelly Pinto.

Pinto resigned as its interim CFO but will remain as its senior vice president, finance and chief accounting officer and the principal accounting officer, according to a regulatory filing.

Shantharam previously served as CFO at CymaBay Therapeutics, ALX Oncology ( ALXO ) said.

Shares of the company were up about 7% in recent trading.
