A-Mark Precious Metals Unit Acquires Regency Mint Manufacturing Assets for $2 Million

09:00 AM EDT, 10/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- A-Mark Precious Metals ( AMRK ) said Monday that its Silver Towne Mint subsidiary, operated through AM&ST Associates, has acquired substantially all of the assets of Regency Mint Manufacturing for $2 million.

The company said the acquisition includes all of Regency Mint's minting equipment, which is expected to be moved shortly to the Silver Towne Mint's facility in Winchester, Indiana, as well as its entire customer list.

The equipment from Regency Mint is expected to increase Silver Towne Mint's capacity of struck products over time to more than 50 million ounces per year from 30 million, the company said, adding that it expects its total minting capacity to exceed 100 million ounces per year over the long term.
