09:34 AM EST, 02/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com's ( AMZN ) Amazon MGM Studios unit formed a joint venture that will house the intellectual property rights of the James Bond franchise, the company said Thursday.

The unit formed the venture with Michael Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, and the parties will continue to be co-owners of the franchise, Amazon ( AMZN ) said.

Amazon MGM Studios will have creative control over future productions following the transaction's closing, according to the statement.

No financial details were disclosed.
