09:16 AM EDT, 03/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com ( AMZN ) may not give its senior staff cash pay raises this year as the company plans to prioritize base pay increases for employees whose compensation does not include stock-related awards, media reports said Wednesday.

"For this year's compensation cycle, we are prioritizing cash base pay increases for employees whose compensation is weighted more heavily in base pay as opposed to stock," Amazon ( AMZN ) said, according to a Reuters report.

Amazon ( AMZN ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
