01:48 PM EDT, 03/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- AMC Networks ( AMCX ) shares rose nearly 3% after the company said it intends to redeem all of its outstanding 4.75% senior notes due 2025 on April 24.

The redemption depends on the company issuing at least $700 million of senior secured notes by the redemption date. The terms of the notes must be acceptable to the company.

If the condition is met, the notes will be redeemed at their full value plus any unpaid interest up to the redemption date, the company said.
