10:30 AM EST, 12/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Amcor ( AMCCF ) said Monday it has completed the sale of a 50% interest in Bericap North America for $122 million.

The proceeds will be used for debt reduction, Amcor ( AMCCF ) said.

The joint venture posted sales of approximately $190 million in fiscal 2024, Amcor ( AMCCF ) added. The transaction is not expected to impact Amcor's ( AMCCF ) financial outlook for fiscal 2025, aside from a reduction in interest expense, it added.

Amcor ( AMCCF ) shares fell 1.3% in recent trading.
