10:28 AM EST, 12/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Amentum (AMTM) said Wednesday that the company and Multiconsult Norge were selected by Halden Kjernekraft to assess the feasibility of a small modular reactor in Norway.

The assessment will help Halden make a decision regarding nuclear power for advanced energy needs, according to Amentum.

The two companies will assess potential suppliers and report on technical standards, environmental impact, and other key construction aspects, Amentum added.

Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
